From September 24th to 25th, 2021, the 7th CEC English workshop was successfully held in SWUFE. The workshop was jointly sponsored by the RIEM of SWUFE and the African Research Center.
At the opening ceremony, Professor Dong Yan, CPC Secretary of RIEM and Director of the African Studies Center, delivered an opening speech. Professor Gan Li, President of RIEM and Director of the China Household Finance Survey and Research Center, delivered a speech entitled "Towards the keynote speech on Path Choices for Common Wealth.
This workshop received about 150 contributions from scholars from well-known universities around the world. After review by the organizing committee, 60 papers were selected, covering public economics, environmental economics, macroeconomics, capital market, urban economics, international economics, corporate finance, innovation economics, applied microeconomics. In terms of labor supply and other aspects, it provides a high-level academic exchange and display platform for domestic and foreign scholars.
The workshop and China Economic Review jointly organized a special issue with the theme of "China's New Development Stage: Challenges and Opportunities". At the same time, the forum also received strong support from journals such as Financial Innovation, The Economics of Transition, Growth and Change, and China and World Economy.
